What Motivates Us?
There is an abundance of underinvested people, places, and ideas capable of addressing the complex challenges facing local communities, but access to flexible capital and other resources is limited. Yet, more than ever before, there is an abundance of private capital capable of unlocking this community potential. If only it could be inspired and mobilized for impact.
Abundance Capital extends the ability of new and seasoned philanthropists to unlock community potential, generate inclusive prosperity, and create sustainable local economies across the South. Recommending investments from specialized donor-advised funds, our fundholders (Abundance Angels) provide much-needed, risk-tolerant, flexible financing in the form of loans, equity, and grants to people and projects that solve problems and create opportunities.

How Does it Work?
The Abundance Capital platform delivers ongoing identification, execution, and management of impact-first investment opportunities. We also provide advisory and educational offerings to make the impact investing experience effective and rewarding. And, while impact is prioritized over financial gains, Abundance Angels have the potential to recycle their charitable dollars, using tax-free returns to regenerate impact.
Give
Open your own Abundance Angel Fund (DAF) or contribute to a pooled fund. Donations are tax-deductible and numerous giving options are available. Grants from other DAFs also accepted. Consider a gift to support Abundance operations as well!
Invest
Recommend impact investments, participating in collaborative opportunities other donors identify or by bringing us your own custom ideas. Meet the people behind the investments, and enjoy taking part in educational and networking activities.
Regenerate
Stretch your philanthropic impact by reinvesting available returns in addition to recommending grants to qualified public charities. Continue adding to your Abundance Fund with ongoing tax-deductible donations
